In the world of experiential hospitality, there are innovative concepts, and then there are jaw-dropping spectacles that redefine what's possible.

The Private Jet Villa in Bali falls firmly into the latter category.

Imagine a Boeing 737 perched 150 meters above the ocean on a cliff edge, transformed into a luxury villa with a cockpit jacuzzi, wing terraces, and an infinity pool cantilevered over the abyss.

It sounds impossible—the kind of concept that would make engineers sweat and investors run.

But for one visionary entrepreneur, it became a reality commanding $2,000-$4,000 per night.

The Numbers Behind the Phenomenon

The social media performance of the Private Jet Villa defies what many thought possible in hospitality marketing:

  • 183,000 engaged followers

  • 210+ million total views across platforms

And some of their best posts reaching: 116M+, 44.5M+ and 16.9M+ views.

The Visionary Behind the Villa

Meet Felix Demin—a 33-year-old Russian entrepreneur with a track record of creating the extraordinary.

Before the Private Jet Villa, Felix had already built over 150 properties in Bali and created the Bubble Hotel, transparent dome-shaped stays that earned a spot in Airbnb's Top 10 most unique hotels globally.

He'd discovered a fundamental truth about hospitality: "non-standard" experiences don't just attract slightly more attention—they create exponential demand.

The more unconventional the concept, the more people are willing to pay premium prices for the experience.

But Felix wasn't content with “bubbles.” He wanted something more audacious…

In 2020, while the world was retreating from risk, Felix spotted an abandoned Boeing 737-200 that had been sitting idle for a decade.

After purchasing the aircraft, Felix secured a dramatic cliffside plot 150 meters above Nyang Nyang Beach in Uluwatu.

What followed was an engineering feat that would test every ounce of his willpower:

The plane required complete disassembly—a process involving the removal of 50,000 bolts with such precision that he had to consult Boeing experts.

When transportation week arrived, Felix's team had to construct 600 meters of new road just to move the massive pieces through Bali's narrow, winding paths.

Local villagers watched in disbelief as sections of airplane traveled through their neighborhoods.

Two massive cranes performed the heart-stopping lift to position the fuselage precisely on the cliff edge, battling coastal winds that threatened to send the project literally over the edge.

A 20-person crew then spent two months carefully reassembling the plane, anchoring it deep into the cliff bedrock to withstand both wind and potential seismic activity.

Inside, the transformation was equally ambitious.

The cockpit became a jacuzzi bathroom with panoramic ocean views—a feature that tested the team when early leaks during installation soaked everyone involved.

Every piece of furniture had to be custom-built to fit the curved walls of the fuselage, using light tones, natural wood, Italian travertine, and brass to counteract the confined space.

One wing was converted into a glass-edged terrace with white furniture, while a netted relaxation area extends from the original plane doors, offering guests the sensation of floating above the Indian Ocean.

After three years of relentless work, the Private Jet Villa finally opened in December 2023.

But Felix didn't just stumble into virality…

What made his social media approach so effective wasn’t just the jaw-dropping concept, but a deliberate content strategy refined through years of experience at Bubble Hotel:

1. Consistent influencer collaborations within their specific niche–Bali-based creators, luxury travel influencers, and content creators with followings that match their target demographics.

2. Immersive reels walking guests through their potential experience–everything from walking up to the villa to lounging in the infinity pool and exploring the villa. All helping viewers envision themselves there and feel what it would be like to book.

3. Showcasing the "wow-worthy" moments a guest can expect–the perfect sunsets on the wing deck, opening the airplane door to lounge in the net off the cliff edge, their viral bathtub in the cockpit with one-of-a-kind views.

4. Leveraging viral-focused concepts beyond traditional property tours–their most successful video (116M+ views) barely shows the villa, instead using an FPV drone to simulate a guest jumping off the cliff and riding an AI-generated waterslide down the mountainside.

This wasn’t random content—it was calculated virality.

The result of this virality translates directly to business performance:

  • Premium pricing power ($2,000-$4,000 per night)

  • Direct bookings that eliminate OTA commissions

  • Dramatically increased brand awareness and guest demand

  • Global press coverage worth millions in equivalent advertising

Felix proved that in today's hospitality market, the extraordinary doesn't just win—it dominates.

The Private Jet Villa represents the extreme end of experiential hospitality, but its lessons apply across the spectrum.

Felix's approach proves what we've seen with our own clients time and again–experiences tailored to the modern traveler don't just attract attention, they command premium rates and eliminate the race to the bottom on pricing.

At Oasi, we've helped properties leverage their own distinctive elements to create content that stops the scroll.

The formula isn't complicated—it's about identifying your property's most shareable moments and bringing them to life through consistent, high-quality content that resonates with your ideal guests.

Because in today's market, it's not the accommodation itself that matters most—it's the stories you help your guests tell after they leave.

Whether it's a private jet villa or a treehouse resort in the Texas Hill Country, the principle remains the same: when you give people something worth sharing, they'll pay more for the privilege of being the first in their circle to experience it.
